As of July 1, 2019, the state of Virginia has approved the use of medical marijuana for certain conditions. Cannabis has a profound influence on the human body. This one herb and its variety of therapeutic compounds seem to affect every aspect of our bodies and mind. Scientific research on this herb has led to the discovery of a physiologic system that all humans and almost all animals possess; the endocannabinoid system. Scientists are still continuing to discover the many ways in which this system plays an important role in our overall health.

Qualifications for Our Medical Cannabis Program
Patients who wish to get into the program must be:
- 18 years or older or have a qualified guardian
- Valid proof of ID and state residence.
- Legitimate medical condition based on the state’s list of qualifying conditions,
Patients will be seen by a marijuana doctor via telehealth visits. The consultation schedule is determined by our practitioner per patient on a case by case basis and may be more or less frequent based on individual needs and guidelines or legislation determined by the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy.
